AST Analog Transmitter Phase Out Plan

Written by:

As part of the continuous effort to maintain high quality and reliable products at an economical cost to you, CETCI will be phasing out the AST analog transmitters. The AST will be replaced with the new LPT-A analog transmitters effective January 2, 2014.

The AST transmitters have been in continuous production for more than eight years and have been CETCI’s most successful transmitter in terms of performance and numbers sold.

CETCI is very excited to introduce the new LPT-A as part of the LPT series of transmitters to be released in the coming year. The LPT-A provides the end user with a great deal of value. Every LPT-A comes standard (at no extra charge) with 4 - 20 mA output, 0 - 10VDC output, LCD digital display, audible alarm, one dry relay contact and water / dust tight, corrosion resistant enclosure. With the functionality, sensor and sensor ranges being the same as the AST, the transition to the new LPT-A will be seamless. The added bonus is the lowered price.

Please note that we will continue to provide excellent technical support for the AST even after discontinuation.
